New Job
For the first time in my life, I've been fired. I'm really not sorry for it though because it was unfair and I had no choice in the matter.
Back up... Erik and I were told to move into the new place on the 29th of this month. So we rented a truck, aranged to get all his parents furniture out of storage, people are taking off work to help us move on that day. Then DCBS (the comic book store where i work) said that everyone has to work 10 hour days on the 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st.
Um, sorry, that isnt going to work. So we told Christina that we were really sorry but we wouldnt be able to do the 29th. She said if we dont come in, we are fired. Well, its not like we can change our moving day since we already paid for the truck and friends are already taking off work to help us. Soooo............... need a new job.
Im waiting for my hair to dry and then I'm going in for an interview at a local daycare. Kristina peasley, a lady i know, told me that they are dying for people and if i have any sort of experience with childcare (which i do) i will be a shoo-in. Plus, its $8/hour
sounds good to me.
