Sounds like some well-fermented apples! I think I've read stories about baby mooses or something (or was it caribou?) getting drunk off their asses in people's yards in Alaska or somewhere, and causing all kinds of frat-boy ruckus. Speaking of mooses, at my mother's house (where I am now) we have a cat who definitely beats the big one in my garden in Berkeley, in terms of moose-ness. Though he hilariously contains all his flesh in the vertical (sagging) dimension, and remains quite narrow when viewed head on. He's always had quite a long frame, and now he's certainly filled it out, so to speak. He lies around on the floor with his head tilted up slightly and basically looks just like a harbor seal....
