oh well
I have this vague feeling that before I went to bed last night, there was something I wanted to get up early and do today before going in to work, but that i'd decided 'screw it' and didn't bother going to bed early.
This morning, when I woke up half an hour early anyway, that vague recollection was much more clear. Damned if I could remember what it was I wanted to get up early and do though.
So I based my last 25 pdr crew and turntable, and drybrushed the khaki green highlights on the gun and the crew's helmets.
There's another FoW league starting up this week and my first game is on Sunday. I've done about three of these now and have been playing this game for over a year, and still don't have everything painted. Not that this is unusual for me. i'm fairly certain everything will at least have a "base coat" on it for the first game though. No bare primer or bare metal this time around. And that 25pdr battery is going to be hott. I've got unit markings hand-painted on the vehicles and *maps* hand painted on the staff team's plotting table.
Oh crap. that does remind me though that some of the auxillary vehicles are not painted. I guess there will be bare primer and bare resin (if not metal) after all. Ah well, they usually get sent to the rear (taken off the table) first thing anyway.
