oh, and by the way
i was very distraught to find 2 completely opposite yet equally distressing quirks with certain Doctor Who specials.
1) Time Crash. I can listen to it just fine, but, sadly, there is no picture. how am i supposed to appreciated decorative vegetables when there are none to be seen? it saddens me.
2) The Enemy Within. i watched fully 10 minutes of the movie before i started to get the feeling i was missing something. and then i realised that i *was* missing something. Sound. wot? i'm sure Paul McGann would be just as wonderful without sound, but i am also quite sure that it would be even lovelier with some dialogue, music, and sound effects. sci-fi always has cool sound effcts.
and so i ask, dearest Robin, (and most humbly) would it be possible at any point (it doesnt even matter when) for these tragedies to be remedied? i do hope so. but i do not wish to inconvenience. or to make you feel bad....technology hates me, and i know you don't.
