Great weekend
I met Steph's family yesterday - and they're fantastic! Such a warm and welcoming place with so many cute critters and artwork (paintings, sketches, scuptures-both concrete and bronze) by at least three generations of artists in the family strewn everywhere. There's an overloaded bookshelf around every corner, and art from every corner of the globe that they've amassed (although their own works are certainly the majority of the peices). All of their critters are super friendly and great with people-Steph's horse Kasha is an absolute sweetheart.
The entire family are left-leaning environmentalists and animal rights advocates. What can I say but, wow-talk about fitting in with the family. :)
She'll also fit in pretty darn well with all ya'll. A rather large proportion of her art features wolves or werewolves (or both) - or her favourite anime or comic-book character at the moment. Dylan - I hope you get to see some of her work - it's exceptionally good.
The funniest part of this is how we met. The frickin' internet?! What are the odds of that, eh? Two people that are a pretty darn obvious match, at least as far as I'm concerned, but that would probably never meet otherwise. To top it all off-I found out yesterday how she found out about the internet service we'd used: Dr. Fucking Phil. Can you believe that? I never, in a billion years, thought I'd have anything to thank that guy for-life certainly is full of suprises.
