(no subject)
i stayed home from school today. cough cough.
actually, i didn't stay home. scott and i left at our usual brutal early morning time. but by the time we were almost to princeton, it was pretty clear that i couldn't finish a sentence without coughing. since today's the only day left this week without a master class or a midterm, i decided that this is the day to rest up and make sure i don't get really sick just in time to go to england with my choir. not that it would be all bad if i get too sick to go at all-- i just don't want to be anywhere in-between healthy and incapacitated. so we drove all the way to school, i picked up my books from my locker so that i can study today, and then i dropped scott off at work and came home. 2 pointless hours later. but it's better to be home than at school!
i'm extra wiped out because i sang in 3 recitals this weekend! and they were all really great. rillyrilly. grate. terrific, amazing music that i've always wanted to sing (like taverner's village wedding) and a fabulous choral rocksong by a kickass student composer who put on the silliest, most fun recital ever, and rumbly russian music! solos! barbershop! it was a spectacularly fun and exhausting weekend of singing.
