Kobe

Well, I posted a few pics of the bus tour to my fb, if you're interested.  I would talk more on that, but between the heat and my feet hurting so badly, everything is something of a blur to me.  I'm not even certain that I captioned all the pics correctly.

There's apparently not much to do in Kobe besides go shopping.  I'm actually fine with that.  My sunburn isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but my feet are still swollen.  The swelling and the sweating has the straps cutting into my skin.  Nice.  The rashes are manageable.  So today I am totally taking it easy.

This hotel has a much better air conditioning system, thank the gods.  So I'm finding it nice to just chill here to recuperate.  I did head out for lunch and found another cool (that is, air conditioned) mall to eat in.  McDonalds!  Whose surprised?  I might go back for some early Christmas shopping.  I did find something for someone already.  Price is not too bad actually.

There's a city loop bus where you can buy an all day pass and get on and off at will.  It seems to pass by sights like Chinatown, a shrine or two, museums and what not.  I think that's how I will spend my day tomorrow.

Hubby will play hooky one afternoon this week.  We will take the train to Osaka and visit the castle there.  And there's apparently a pretty cool Aquarium.  Initially I wasn't very interested, but there's a brochure in the hotel that practically amounts to a catalog.  And it looks very cool.  If I'm feeling adventurous, I'll go take the train there on my own.  Need to get my feet feeling better first.
