Because I need to see and ”imbibe in” some other fashion than smart, casual, and office-inspired attires, here are the outfits I liked or found really interesting at this year's Grammy's. I will try to skip the Romanian bit, not really sure it has any use.
The order of the images is the same in which I found them from various sources on the internet, not hierarchical.
Poo Bear and his +1.
I simply love her dress. The lines are amazing, the contrast is awesome, and I suspect the clutch fits, except that unfortunate glare makes my eyes hurt.

Janelle Monae
She is such a beauty, always so poised and looking neat. The contrast between the male concept of full three? two? piece suit and the embellishing flowers, and the playful cut around the cleavage makes this a very strong outfit. For my own figure, the pants should be less baggy, so more on the fit side, and definitely boot-cut.

Maren Morris
Amazingly interesting dress, it shows a lot of skin but is also safe an covers a bit more than the essentials. Definitely needs a high level of confidence to pull it off. To my taste, the triangle (or diamond?) shape that starts from the middle is kinda off-putting, so I thing I would have liked a different pattern. But it works greatly with the structure of the fabric and it looks fabulous.

Giuliana Rancic
An example of a wardrobe disaster waiting to happen (like a wind or a swirl or just a breeze) but a dress with an intricate pattern of threads and shredded effect is the one designed by Mikael D (I think). I would love to be as tall and trusting in my own appearance so as to deliver the same appearance, but instead I can admire from afar how it looks on her. Lovely.

Lisa Loeb
A dress that I could not decide whether I like it or not, but due to the fact that I kept returning to it and studying it I figured that it must be something about it. I do like the fabric, I think it's interesting, a kind of metallic skin (?)(I am just an amateur, not really knowing the right fashion terms) ...but: I think it is a bit disproportionate, it is too much below the waist, I think a shorter length would've worked much better or if keeping the length, then reducing the amplitude of the skirt part. Apart from that, I think I also have an affinity for the look because Lisa Loeb is sporting those glasses and she looks very chic. An inspiration.
Oh and I would've liked a looser, wavier hairdo....right now it looks like the head of a sexy secretary from 1960s was mismatched with the glam body of a woman who attends award shows for a living.

Erika Ender
I LOVE love the silhouette and the details - I am not sure if those are huge zippers or just my imagination is at play here, but the entire dress is amazing. The woman has curves, a beautiful cleavage and she looks simply stunning. I WANT that dress. Her hair is glorious, but I would've liked something more tamed in order to better emphasize the dress.

Miley Cyrus
Fabulous dress! Amazing color, intricate pattern of the fabric, a very flattering shape and just an outfit that makes you feel like a princess (I assume, of course). Love it!

....and last but not least....
Liz Hernandez
Maybe another example of barely there dress, this made it to the list because yes, it is basically black underwear (seems comfy, though) with sheer fabric and some ruffles, but the design is at the same time simple so as to not ruin the whole skimpy look, and yet still manages to add some level (not that high, because...underwear) of sophistication. I wish I had the same attitude as her, because the outfit is great, to say the least.
