Summer nights
In the rabbit years
We danced under the Moon's
evening glow
Owls out to alert us of our
wisdom within.
We swam eagerly with our feelings
of love for the feminine
and love for ourselves
We flew,
our wing span enough to glide the oceans waves
into the lush green forest,
California you played witness to our embraces of
heat emanating from our very core
and in one with our Mother we became wild again,
we indulged and in purity of the morning dew we bathed,
to cleanse away that of which no longer helped our roots expand,
to cleanse away that which never let our flowers bloom,
that which never gave shelter to out wild being, to be born again and again
and to die again again.
We parted but I still miss you.
