Random post of randomness
1. I've been ignoring my LJ for the past month, except for the weekly language posts. However, said language posts have gotten a few comments recently, so at least I know people are reading them. Yay.
2. My sister and I went to the Rammstein concert at the Tacoma Dome on the 14th. It was awwwwwsooooome. I might write a detailed review of it like I did last year, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. If I don't, this will have to suffice: I GOT WITHIN TEN FEET OF MY FAVORITE BAND EVER. I IS SO HAPPY.
3. I've found myself getting interested in Transmetropolitan. Spider Jerusalem seems like one hell of a character. He also has a two-headed cat.
4. I got a pixie cut. My hair is now shorter than I've had it since I was a little girl. People tell me it's cute.
5. The 26th marked five years at Target for me. That's longer than any other job I've had. I'm proud of myself.
6. Speaking of work, my hours have finally gone up again. Woohoo!
7. I've had nineteen volumes of manga on my floor since February (six Death Note, twelve Bleach, and one Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden). I've only read four of them. I need to get on the stick here.
8. I also have a whole list of video games I have but haven't played yet. At least a few will take a considerable amount of gameplay to get through. Blarg.
9. The pyogenic infection I was dealing with last July has come back. Yippee. As it turns out, it's a hereditary condition that affects the apocrine sweat glands, and causes those glands to spontaneously abscess. The best part? It's a lifelong condition. That's just outstanding. I can only hope the remission periods are as long as possible. It's been almost a year since the first outbreak. I hope it's longer next time.
10. My sister and I have been watching Azumanga Daioh. She's really liking it.
