I'm back. Anyone miss me?
Yargh. I've been neglecting my LJ. First I was lonely and depressed, then I was sick, then I was menstrual and bitchy. Throughout it all, I've been busy with work. Lastly, nothing really interesting has happened in my life lately. Therefore, no motivation to post anything.
Just a few things of note:
1. I had a major geek-out moment at work last week. A guy with the Ouroboros symbol from Fullmetal Alchemist tattooed onto the back of his right hand came in and needed my help at the service desk. I said he must like FMA, and he said I was only the third person to recognize what it was. That was so cool. Anime geeks unite. :)
2. I was on the bus a couple of days ago, and there was this kid (late-teens/early-twenties, I think) rather loudly complaining on his cell phone about how he hated Washington. It's "ugly" and "rains too much." That pussy just can't take the rain. >:P Besides, lots of rain means lots of green. I could never live in one of the desert states where the landscape is all rocks and dirt. I like my trees and grass, thanks.
3. Another Bleach character I'm really liking: Hisagi Shuuhei. I can't really say why except that I'm unabashedly attracted to him. He has the strong, lithe body type I most appreciate, and I like the feral/badass quality his tattoos give him. I love the eternal "bitch, please" look on his face, too. Kinda sad that I'm attracted to what amounts to ink on paper, but whatever. I'd have his babies in a heartbeat. I've found some Shuuhei/Yumichika fanart and fiction, and the yaoi fangirl in me really likes it. Geh.
4. Jesus, #3 is embarrassing. It's true, though. >_<
5. Oh, and belated Happy Independence Day. Yesterday was uneventful. At least I got paid time-and-a-half at work.
