This music video really reminds me of Silent Hill 2 for a couple of reasons. One, the bizarre sexual imagery. The reigning motif in SH2 is a collection of twisted representations of James's frustrated libido. This video gives me the same kind of vibes (and the dancers in white at the beginning look like Silent Hill monsters, period). I don't think Pyramid Head would seem out of place at all. Two, the lyrics sound like something Maria would say to James. She's an eroticized version of Mary, so she wants James to love her (and is much more forward about it than Mary is), but she also embodies Mary's resentment over what James did to her, as well as her own resentment over James rejecting her as a replacement. The best phrase I can think up to describe Maria's feelings for James is "angry desire." Also, the man described in this song doesn't sound like the sanest individual, and we all know that James is a closet psycho. Seriously.
