Late to the party, that's me
I have a knack for reading about or seeing something that everyone raves (or rants) about several years after the hype has gone down, and only then getting interested in it. Like Penny Arcade, Ai no Kusabi, The Smashing Pumpkins, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc. (Although FMA and AnK have new anime series out, so I'm not a total slacker in that regard.) This time, it's American McGee's Alice and Silent Hill 2. Both are quite a bit darker than my usual taste in video games--the closest to "horror" I've ever played is Castlevania--but I've found them intriguing lately. The only problem is Alice is a PC game, and I don't think my computer is really equipped to play games very proficiently.
System requirements notwithstanding, is anyone familiar with these two games that could let me know if they're worth it or not? I'm curious.
