Portraits | Luc Fournol

Aug 27, 2007 19:46

For 'Art' weekly magazine then for 'Jours de France', Luc Fournol took pictures of the most famous artists between 1950 and 1970: painters, writers, actors, and musicians. His pictures cannot be considered studio pictures, nor report pictures; however, they have such an evocative power that they are endowed with some sort of eternity. As a matter of fact, many of his pictures have become famous. Today, he devotes himself tot his collection of modern paintings. Some of his works have been gathered in 'Instants d'annees 1950-1970' (Denoel, 1997). His works are regularly exhibited in Paris.
