Yes! But he wouldn't try and eat McKay (because he looooooves him - in a zombie kind of way) and yet he couldn't turn him into a zombie either, because he'd know that McKay doesn't have the natural ancient gene, and so he'd just be a mindless zombie. Not a cool, smart, brain-eating zombie like John.

So really, this is a tragic story of love and chasms (metaphoric) that can't be crossed! *g*

Ah, but you could hardly blame the guy. It must be hard to find good ways to tell a story when you're focusing too hard on confusing people... although really, I suppose half the fun is getting to confuse people. *g*
