Notes: So, #5 isn't a 'person'. Sorry about that. Various versions of Six; spoilers for up to the first couple of s3 episodes.
1. Six seduces Felix Gaeta, although Gaeta never knows this. It's Six who tells Gaius exactly what to do, precisely what to say to draw Gaeta to him. To them.
"See the way he looks at you, Gaius?"
Gaius sees it. At first it was interest, intellectual curiosity. Someone new, someone who gives hope in the most dire of circumstances. It wasn't just Gaeta who had looked at Gaius like that, in the early days.
But slowly it changed, transmuted to friendship, and then affection, until one day, Gaius sees it. He sees what Six has been working towards all along. Desire. Want. Written all over Gaeta's face.
"He'll fight for you, one day," she whispers into Gaius's ear. He shivers.
"When it matters, he'll fight for you."
2. Flight mechanic Julia Kurns, from the Geminon Traveller: Gina seduces her as a distraction and a test more than anything else. A challenge. If she can't seduce a repressed, backwards woman from a group of religious zealots, she knows she'll never be able to do what needs to be done.
3. She thinks of herself as Caprica, even though it just reminds her of the ways she's destroyed her own life. Gaius's life.
"Maybe that's why you use the name," the eight - Boomer - says. "You're punishing yourself."
Caprica turns, sliding her arm around Boomer's waist, pressing against her back. Their bodies fit together so well it's almost as though it was planned. "Do you ever ask why you think of yourself as Boomer? As Sharon?"
The world around them - the one they've decided to see, feel - is full of life, noisy birds flicking from towering trees. It fills up the space of Boomer's silence.
"Maybe it's who I am," Boomer eventually says. "All I was ever meant to be."
"No." Caprica strokes back some of Boomer's hair, gentle and rhythmic. "You're more than that. You're an architect of the future human-cylon civilization. You're a visionary."
"Maybe." She shrugs slightly, but Caprica doesn't back away. "But I'm also a pilot. A lieutenant. A traitor."
Caprica pulls her closer.
4. Michael sees her walking down the hall. She's beautiful, like sunshine on Caprica. He can't stop looking.
"Michael. Michael!" His mother calls him, shaking lightly at his arm. "Come on. We have to go."
Pegasus is being closed to all civilian refugees. They're being moved to other ships in the tiny fleet. People are packing and moving in purposeful ways, but all Michael can see is the lady in her deck crew overalls.
He looks at her and can't breathe properly. His heart hurts.
Later, after they settle on the new ship, after Admiral Cain and Pegasus steal their food, their jumpdrive, their weapons, Michael thinks about the lady. All around him, people cry, or scream, or shake and shake and shake. His mother stops talking, then stops eating what little food they were able to hide from the soldiers. She always sleeps.
Michael thinks about the beautiful lady and the way she smiled at him, just once. He wonders if she's all right, on the Pegasus. If she's eating his food.
Then the cylons come.
And he sees her again.
5. "Traitor," Giddens mutters as he watches the blonde skin-job and Jake.
Galen just shrugs. "You know Jake's anyone's for a scratch. Don't take it out on him. It's not like he can help it." Jake really seems to like the skin-job though - the Six, Galen now knows. Boomer had mentioned the model numbers once, when she was telling him she's an Eight.
Giddens spits. "Might as well roll over for her. Just like Baltar does."
Sure enough, Jake rolls over, baring his chest for a scratch. The Six obliges, smiling and speaking soft words.
After a few minutes, she gives Jake piece of bread, stands up, and walks away. Somehow she looks calmer and more confident than ever.
Galen watches her walk through the camp, wondering about the dead-drop and the way Jake seems to know the Six. Maybe they have an insider none of them would ever have expected.
