Kamisama Dolls (1 cour, complete) - Well. It's... interesting, I suppose, though what we get in the anime is really more of a set up of all the principal characters and explanation of their past together. The ending resolves precisely nothing, except getting the male lead together with his love interest, maybe.
Anyway, the premise is interesting enough, but it really suffered from the abundance of romantic stupidity. And it is stupid. Really, really stupid. It was almost painful. It's especially difficult because I don't dislike Hibino's actual character. I actually kind of like her. But the nonsense that so often follows her because of this romance nonsense started to make me cringe whenever she appeared. Also, her character design is so ugly... (those damn boobs)
UraBoku (Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru, 2 cours, complete) - I finally finished this show, which I started literally years ago. It was... well, there were lots of really pretty people...? The sheer level of melodrama was impressive. It's... not really my kind of thing. I wish they'd explained a little more about Duras, where they come from, where they live, what the Zweilt even are, what powers they have, what is up with those books, why a clan from the Heian period does vaguely German themed monsters and objects, etc, etc. But all that stuff is ultimately just window dressing for the melodrama and implied gay, so...
In any case, at least I finished it. And Luka was very, very attractive. I wish Yuki wasn't so bland by comparison. Honestly, he gets a bit annoying after a while, especially since everyone loves him so much.
