Would anyone mind teaching me how to care for a plant?

[Zero had been mulling it over for some time and he finally decided to purchase a flower to care for. He wanted to understand nature a bit better for some...important reasons. He had gone to the flower shop and, after looking around, settled on one. It wasn't its appearance that caught his eye

I wouldn't have taken you for a gardener, Zero. But I suppose it's nice to have a hobby.

I never had a chance to see real plants until right before I arrived here.

That's too bad. It's been a while since I've had the chance to spend much time around nature, but I wouldn't mind giving you a hand if you want.

Can't hurt. A human's probably more fit to help a plant than I am.

Hey, you shouldn't say that. It's not like the plant cares who's taking care of it.

I guess not, but there's still something separating me from understanding nature. Of course, that was the point in getting plant in the first place...

I think that as long as you want to understand nature, you will.

That's a pretty optimistic viewpoint.

I've been told that I'm a pretty optimistic person.

It's refreshing. I'm more of a realist.

There's nothing wrong with that. There are plenty of ways to look at the world.
