The post office is pretty convenient, aside from being run by murderous sadists. You can return whatever you want for full a refund like any ordinary order service. I haven't heard of such things. People have been kind and helpful to me.

A child was kidnapped and at least two people were murdered in the last few weeks.

Ah. Well, this is the virtue of keeping one's self out of trouble, isn't it? I recall hearing something said on the phone now that you mention it...

I doubt any of the victims were at fault, so it's not a matter of keeping yourself out of trouble.

...If you are concerned about keeping yourself out of trouble, keeping up on these sorts of incidents would do you some good.

I hardly see why. So there's unrest amongst the masses, why should I be concerned with that? I don't associate with the dregs of society that are involved in such things.

You don't need to be associated with criminals to be a victim. Like I said, the victims were hardly likely at fault.

There's plenty to do differently if you don't want to be made a victim.

Most people are willing to make risks to live a less pitiful life than that. If you want to live your life hidden away and alone out of your own fear, then do so, but don't criticize those that don't.

Fear? [Snort.] I keep to myself because most people here are beneath me.

I've heard that excuse enough. Half the time, it's from cowards. The other half the time, it's from baseless pride.

Whichever your case may be, I only pity you.

My pride is not baseless. I have the abilities to back it up.

If you really think something like abilities or power gives you the right to be so arrogant, then you're far more sheltered than I had thought.

Here's some advice: stay in your hole. No one cares about whatever abilities you have with an attitude like that.

...Really? That's the best retort you managed to scrounge up? What are you, an insecure child?
