This was all kinds of AWESOME! even more awesome considering I'm from Colombia XD May I ask why you wrote it in this country??

I love Xabi, not being the typical damsel in distress but a very very strong character, and so smart and sexy and whatnot.. OOOH, and Double Oh Sexy, most definitely. Sexiest man alive! Oh! Oh! And Stevie wearing his royal marine uniform? DAMN. HOT. *drools*

I loved it, really. Everything was exciting and funny.. it was great! <3

May I ask why you wrote it in this country??

It was a mixture of useful technicalities and sentimentality because Colombia is my no. 1 dream travel destination. :) I started with a vague idea that Xabi would get kidnapped for some unspecified industrial espionage reason... It needed to be a Spanish-speaking country because 1. my Spanish is much better than my French for both research and dialogue and 2. Liverpool have a lot more ex-Spanish speaking players that could make fun cameos. So once I decided I need an oil-rich Spanish-speaking country, the choice was easy.

In fact, out of the two of them, Xabi's the dangerous, slightly psychopathic one. I'd be a little worried about Stevie's safety, but as long as he puts out regularly and wears the uniform every now and then ( ... )

really? dream travel destination? may I ask why? If you ever need any help with getting here, please do let me know. I'd love to help you fulfill your dream. I don't live in the capital (although my city is gorgeous, i'd even say better than Bogotá! haha) but I can always lend a hand ;)

Oh yeah, Xabs is a very dangerous damsel. But I love him like that, all full of opinions.. and I didn't mention his boyfriend Quique but, el-oh-el. With his stupid herbal tea, not appreciating how AWESOME Xabier is... hmph!

Every picture I've seen of the country looks incredibly beautiful. Every Colombian person I've ever worked with/talked to has been incredibly nice and warm and helpful (which I'm not naive to think ALL locals are, of course, just saying that they've stood out to me from all other nationalities I've met/worked with). I don't know, it's just one of those things... it's... a long-term plan though, definitely won't happen for a while, but I know where to find you. :)

Quique was one of the first ideas I got for this. I've never written anybody being with the "wrong" person and knowing it before, it's good to see the plan worked.
