I feel as if I need to state that this is all a matter of opinion, you are more than free to disagree, but I ask that you try to respect it as I will try to respect any opinion of yours

First off, you are absolutely right about the Jews, I stand corrected on that bit. But allow me to continue. . .
If a person does not entirely grasp the concept of Hell, then they do not entirely grasp the concept behind spending an eternity there. I do not believe that a sane person (I did state "sane" in my initial piece) can fully understand what "eternal damnation" is and then claim to be a follower of Satan. Just as I would not consider one who believes Jesus Christ died for their sins but is unchanged by this belief to be a Christian (as in they feel they are permitted to sin as much as they like for they have already been forgiven.)
As a retort to your second argument: I also wrote in the first statement of "my belief that it is impossible for a sane person to intentionally follow Satan." I am speaking of someone who claims exactly to follow Satan, with a full understanding of who he is and what it would mean to do so. Whether we regard someone spiritually inclined towards Buddhism, Paganism, etc. to be a Satanist is entirely subjective.
And of course they were trying to piss people off, but if no one ever spoke or wrote about things that piss them off then this country would really not have gotten anywhere would it have? I know that access to my opinions is fairly limited, so by putting it just on this internet journal I am really only complaining and moaning about the direction society is headed, offering little in terms of solutions, but if my school had a newspaper, I assure you I would have made sure I had an article.
and lastly. . . thank you Meredith, this is what I want my journal to be about.
