a writing question
I have a question for those of who you who have written/are writing serial stories. How do you keep the narrative flowing/link between chapters of your story? I know what's going to happen in Fortune's Wheel, but sometimes I feel like chapters are discreet elements of the story, and I don't want it to feel like 'this happened and then this happened and then this happened.' Perhaps it's because it takes me so long to write chapters? Any pointers on how to make fics feel like stories and not just a succession of chapters?
