this week's tv
How awesome was Game of Thrones last night? Probably my fav ep so far. And I was quite glad that we've taken to saving Doctor Who to watch while waiting for GoT because we needed something good after the lameness of this episode. BUT NEXT WEEK IS NEIL GAIMAN WHAT. Have been trying to avoid spoilers but I have seen a few and SO EXCITED.
things what are awesome:
+ Jon and Sam
+ Sansa being introduced to the real world
+ my husband pointing out that the jousting armour was totally ridiculous because there was no neck guard and then a guy dying from a lance in his neck (okay, maybe not so much "awesome" but "amusing coincidence")
+ Ned and Arya's chat
+ Dany standing up for herself
+ the scene with Viserys in the bathtub because, really, what? Stop making him seem like a normal person ahhhhh everyone is so complex and I can't just hate anyone. Which is awesome/annoying. (see also: Jaime)
+ Tyrion being awesome, as usual
+ CATELYN THERE IS A REASON I LOVE YOU
oh and I guess Glee was this week. I think it's gotten a bit better the last week or so (partly because Kurt! and I love Santana/Brittany like whoa) but I'm side-eyeing a bit Santana's sudden lesbianness after sleeping with half the guys at school and then telling Rachel that she couldn't put a label on her. I don't think I'd care except for that bit where Kurt went off annoyingly about bisexuals (and I could see it as him being threatened, but it wasn't mediated or framed well) so I'm a bit wary and hope that they don't go all one-or-the-other. But other than that Santana is fierce and awesome. And hey, I had no idea Fleetwood Mac wrote all those songs.
