I forgot how lame this show is, and why I only halfway pay attention. Some interesting character moments, particularly the Ruth/Harry scene at the beginning and the murder of the ex-Home Secretary. Plot was diverting, but I laughed out loud when it turned out Talwar was in London.
I'm pretty sure I'm over Harry, and his angst. Doesn't he try to leave every season? Lucas was obnoxiously self-righteous, but was rescued by being hot and Interesting Plot that will probably lead to his demise D : Also: does everyone on Spooks die/have an unhappy ending? I want someone to quit to go have an alpaca farm and *not* be secretly evil or get pulled back into the service.
Liked Beth, and Ruth until her last scene with Harry. Her excuses seem pretty weak. I understand feeling that the moment has passed, but "what will we talk about with the neighbors" ? Go pick up a hobby. Herd alpacas. That's a conversation starter.
Meh, I wanted some brain candy, and that's basically what I got ; )
