In Loving Memory: Temp Folder

Jan 15, 2006 04:55

People, this is a warning. My entire computer owning life, even way back in the DOS (Disk Operating System; not Denial of Service) days, I have had a folder called 'temp'. This is where I kept all my stuff that didn't really go anywhere else. Or I knew that the material wasn't going to be there very long. My temp folder was like the drawer in the garage, kitchen, or hall that held of life's misc crap. It is the folder of choas. You can't live without choas, but you can't just let it spread out everywhere either. Thus we make a drawer or a closet or in my case, a folder, to house the choas so we can continue on our false perception of order.

Folks, I deleted my temp folder. I spead the choas as evenly as I could here and there. I freed the choas. I don't know what this means. Maybe it is a sign of the apocalypse; maybe it just means i deleted the temp folder. it is like, not only did I open Pandora's box, I took a hammer to it, smashed it up into bits and pieces, and now the box can never be closed.

There is a good chance some of the choas contained in my 'temp' folder is floating your direction like a nuclear cloud or a swarm of locust. If you are christian, now is the time to prey.
