stinky popcorn
well, i have just survived my first college fire alarm fiasco. meredith had already gone to bed and i was on my way and suddenly this ear splitting sound erupts. strobe lights also start to blink. about 2 seconds later meredith was pounding on my bedroom door (best roomie ever, trying to save me) and i was struggling into my undergarments and shoes. when we opened our suite door we about choked on the smoke.
so the stupid girls next door to me burned popcorn. yes, 18 year old girls in the honors dorm at supposedly one of the more elite of the public schools in the region burned a bag of popcorn in a microwave to the extent that it filled the entire wing with smoke. it took about 45 minutes to finally get cleared to come back in.
