No Elves!
OK, I have to step in here and establish some fucking order - in "The Hobbit", Elves are the fucking ENEMY!!! Wood elves are dark assholes, and they threaten the dwarves because they (assholes) are xenophobic and racist and insular. They imprison and shit on Bilbo's gang, and then come later to fucking steal the gold after the hard work is done!
Take note - Legolas and the chick from Lost have NO place in this movie!
Throughout D&D and fiction, everyone fucking loves elves - I think they're the aloof jerks of Middle Earth. I think dwarves are the more humble, hard-working and partying crew to hang with, and they were supposed to get their due in this movie while the tree-fucking leaf-eating elves took a back seat. Because the noble race of dwarves were ignored in LotR and turned into comic goddamn relief via Gimli.
I am getting pretty unhappy with where this "Hobbit Trilogy" is going. Orlando should go back to bombing in other movies and leave the dwarves alone. And just because there are no women in this book, doesn't mean we should make up a character that alters the focus of this book, which is DWARVES=TOUGH BUT GOOD while EVERYONE ELSE=BAD.
