A Piece of "Sevenfold" Bit 23

Yugioh   a tiny, not-so-good piece of Sevenfold, bit 23
Anzu

Anzu felt more determined than she ever had in her life. Her head was held high, a smirk across her painted lips, walking with a proud, triumphant stride. After an entire evening of risking everything she had, she had won enough to buy close to three plane tickets back to Japan. Which, of course, would be two more than she really needed.
It was absolutely inexcusable; she had been abandoned - abandoned - in the middle of Las Vegas, Nevada. And who had left her there with no money and no way home?

Kaiba Seto.

That lanky, obnoxious jerk had flown off without her! Flown off without a goodbye, without an explanation.

The visit had started as an average, run-of-the-mill vacation - for Anzu, at least. True, she had a nicer room than usual, but most everything else she had to pay for on her own. She had only accompanied Kaiba - and Mokuba - to act as baby-sitter.

I wrote this awhile ago.  It's not great.  But I guess you can get the gist.  This is Green:Avarice - the green comes from dollar bills and the avarice comes from Anzu wanting to win at gambling.  Er...  yeah.  Something like that.  Heh.

Oh, a PS - I saw Atonement today.  I LOVED the music.  A typewriter as percussion?  Fabulous.  The movie was good, too.  Perhaps not particularly moving, but there were a lot of good things, too.
