"Actually," Yuzu said placidly, "I think he's not nearly as silly as he seems sometimes." She took her plate to the sink, ignoring - or not seeing - the look of shock on her sister's face.
"What?" Karin laughed a little in controlled disbelief. "I mean... Yeah, Yuzu, he's a good doctor, but outside of medicine he's a complete and total fool."
"Do you really think that, Karin-chan?" She sat down at the table.
"Well yeah, I really think that. Not sure where you get your ideas from, but most of the time he acts like a total moron."
"What's that?" Ichigo asked. "Who acts like a total moron?" Both his sisters turned to see him walk in, his friend Rukia right behind him. They sat down with the twins. Ichigo sighed and ran a hand through his orange hair.
"We're talking about Dad," Karin told him. "Yuzu thinks that the stupid act he puts on is just that: an act. And I think that he's a great doctor, but he's just a moronic human being."
"Sorry, Yuzu," Ichigo said, leaning back in his chair, his hands behind his head, "but I agree with Karin. Dad's just... Dad." He shrugged. "He's an idiot."
At the united front she encountered, Yuzu looked a bit troubled. "Well... There are serious moments he has; and I can just sense that there's something beneath his exterior." She sat in thought for a second longer before suddenly turning to Rukia. "What about you, Rukia-chan? You haven't known him as long, but you've seen him - what do you think?"
Before she could answer, Ichigo snorted and said, "Be honest. I don't care how bad you talk about him."
"Um... My apologies, Yuzu-chan, but I..." She fidgeted slightly before smiling apologetically at the girl. "I just don't see anything else."
That seemed to be the end of it.

Well! Hopefully I can turn this into an "IFO" scene. Heh. (Head explosion! Bwa ha ha.) I doubt I'll finish it any time soon, though. *sigh*
