Yugioh story notes for "Sevenfold" bit 24
Seto/Anzu
Okay!
There I was, lying innocently in bed last night - when BAM! Inspiration came and hit me upside the head. It was a brief, beautiful moment. It's Green: Avarice this time - so! Greed. Green. What did I think of? Dollars! Those leafy green bits of currency floating around. Yes. So! Who's avaricious? Why, Anzu, of course! She's obviously gambling. Where? Las Vegas. Why does she want all that money? Because for some reason (here's where I really need to work) Seto left her stranded there. I have no idea WHY exactly he would just leave her there, but that's the idea that came to me. And I am a slave to my inspiration. *laughs*
I thought that maybe they were having a... er, romantic getaway or something. Like maybe Anzu woke up and he was gone. Once again, though, why? Why were they in Las Vegas? Why did he leave? Hmm... Maybe he was there on business or something and Anzu was... but wait, wait. Why would Anzu need money to get back to Japan if she had met up with him accidentally? In that case, surely she'd already have plans for getting home. Hmm... Okay! So gotta stick to the "he stranded her" idea. Yes. Maybe... argh. But if he was the one who brought her out there, why would he leave her? Did he just forget?
Ahh...
Maybe! Maybe I'll just say he left and give absolutely no explanation. Ooh, that would be naughty. Ku ku ku. Hmm... That would add more emphasis on the "avarice" part of it, and after the weakness of the "pride" element in my last bit, I really want the sin to be strong. So yeah! I guess I'm just going to describe Anzu's gambling and then give very little explanation as to why she is. Hmm... Maybe it was Seto's plan all along to leave her there. I have no idea. But I bet that when I start writing this, more ideas will come. That's usually the way it works for me. Sweet. Heh.
Okay! Do I have any sort of scheduled date for this? Nah. I think I'll just work on this when the fancy strikes me. Yup. Coolness.
