After a Long Week

Urahara/Yoruichi
He finishes the last of the preparations and sighs. He knows that this is the last time he'll ever see Soul Society; once he leaves, he can never come back.
The thought only bothers him vaguely, annoying in the sense that there are things he will miss. But he is industrious and can adapt easily - he will make a place for himself wherever he winds up.
There is one thing, however, that he already hates the thought of leaving. But she knows this, and she is there to see him off.
He is surprised when she tells him she's coming along. "You would drop everything... just to come with me?"
"Sure." Her smile is smug. "But I'm not doing it for you. I want the adventure."
"Adventure - that's fine. But you know," he says softly, where she can't hear, "I don't think I'd mind if it was just for me."

150 words. Ooh, I love Ura/Yoru! I'm going to try a longer piece again once I gather a few more ideas together. I'm hoping this one'll turn out better than the last one did.
