Seto/Anzu
Anzu smiled and snuggled further into Seto. "Of course. I'm not saying that I'm unhappy. It's just..." She ran her hand gently up and down his chest as she spoke. "Well..."
"Just what?" he asked, rather impatiently. He was tired and more than ready for sleep.
"I don't know. I guess that since Honda and Arisa's marriage is coming up, and Mai and Jounouchi finally made their relationship official - "
"You want to have the inevitable, clichéd discussion about where this is going, whether or not I'm really serious, if you're just wasting you time on me..." He groaned quietly and closed his eyes. "Spare me."
Anzu rolled her eyes. "That's not it. Well... not really. I was just wondering whether or not, I don't know, we'd end up together. Forever."
"Do I even need to say it?"
Her hopes rose. "Say what?"
Seto grunted and rolled onto his side, his back towards her. "Nothing lasts forever."
"Seto!" She hit him in the shoulder. "I'm serious. Call it girly, but... Well, I just want to look towards the future. I'm so happy right now, but will it last?" She drummed her fingers against his upper arm absently. "I don't... well, I don't want this to end."
Seto grunted again. "Am I still obsessed with the blue-eyes? Yes. Do my interests fade easily? No. If anyone falls out first, it'll be you - and I'm fairly sure that's what you'll want then. So stop worrying about it. Go to sleep."
Anzu sighed. "All right, I get it. You want to sleep." She lay down, her back against his.
"Brilliant deduction, Anzu. Now hush."
