"You still haven't fired her." Anzu looked down, fingering the hem of her shirt absently.
"She's a competent secretary." He looked at her challengingly. "And that is all she is to me. It does not bode well for our relationship that you don't trust me."
"I don't... Seto, it's not that I doubt you. It's her I don't trust. I know you were sick, but... Why did you even let her touch you?"
He sighed. "Yes, Anzu, I was sick. And perhaps I wasn't thinking clearly. But as much as I hate to admit it, it felt good. My head was aching and I had been working all day, everyday that week - and however robotic I may seem, I am not an automaton. I am as physical and human as anyone. And it felt good - I needed relief and she gave it. There was no sexual desire in my acceptance of that relief."
"All right, Seto. I wasn't accusing you. I asked you not to give her any ideas and I warned you to watch out for her. You didn't. You completely disregarded what I said. Don't you dare make this fight out to be my fault."
"You should have given me the opportunity to explain what happened before you got so angry."
"And you should have come to me if you needed something! I'm your girlfriend, Seto - I know you get caught up in work, but please come to me first if there's something you need."
"Anzu, you shy away from physical interaction. How am I supposed to respect you in that manner and still ask for physical comfort? I don't seek it elsewhere, but in a state of weakness I am more likely to succumb to seemingly innocent advances." He cut her off before she could protest. "Yes, at first it seemed innocent enough. I do not expect every woman I come across to throw herself at me."
"I don't... I don't shy away," she said indignantly. "It's not like I'm completely frigid, Seto." She looked at him, slightly hurt.
