This is for the RP gleeparade that I just found via gleeverse. I want to apply for Rachel - feel free to critique if you'd like. ^^ Well... once I finish it. Heh.

How did you find the community? I saw a pimp!post in gleeverse.

Name: Rachel Berry
Date of Birth/Age/Year of Graduation: Rachel was born on April 1, 1993. She's currently 16 and will be graduating in 2011.
Family/Homelife: Rachel has two gay dads. Two very, very wonderful gay dads. She couldn't love them more, and they give her every opportunity to grow creatively. She adores them. Her biological mom? Well, Rachel has some secret interest in her, but for the most part Rachel doesn't care at all. She's very happy where she is, with her two fathers. And she's an only child - no other siblings to share the spotlight. Her dads adore her and she basks in the attention. She's always been spoiled - they've encouraged rather than discouraged her "diva" attitude. She's fairly independent, though; her dads both work and she's very busy, practicing her singing and dancing as well as keeping up with her MySpace page. Since she's joined Glee her MySpace time has definitely decreased, but she's still very diligent. There have been complaints by the neighbors, but clearly they're stunted and simply can't understand the importance of practicing in the life of a young star. And anyway, Rachel can practice in the auditorium now so they no longer complain.

Relationships This section will be easier for some characters than others but even the characters with canon relationship plots should diverge a bit in this section. Who is their best friend? Do they have a significant other? What about their past relationships? Or even, how do they feel about relationships in general?
Originality What's something special about your character? Think of something that sets them apart from everyone else and talk about it. Generic, known things aren't acceptable here. Everyone knows that Rachel has amazing singing pipes and that Kurt's gay. Go deeper than that.
If applying for a GLEE member: Here's your chance to let out the dirt. Does your character have any grudges against a Glee member? A secret crush? Do they know something that no one else knows? What are their opinions of the other members? What about the situations and plots that we've seen on the show? You don't have to cover everything that's happened here but include enough so that we can get a feel of your character and their reasoning and thoughts.
Anything else you'd like to add? This section isn't necessary but optional. If there's anything you'd like to share with us about your character that hasn't been covered in the above sections, add it here.

Journal Writing Sample: Write a sample journal entry as your character. This can be whatever you want it to be but give it some length and depth. Try to broadcast your character's personality. LJ cuts directed to other people or for private sections are okay.

If you're uncomfortable with doing that, you can PM your app to any of my journals (toujours_rien, gleeparademod or puckinator) and I'll review it there. I prefer the OOC comm posting but will accept PMs. If you choose to make your application private and you are accepted into the community, you'll have to make a post summarizing your app and detailing your character for the other members to get familiar with what you're doing to do, etc.
It's due on the 23rd, so I'm going to try to finish it soon. Probably like... tomorrow, I guess, and then revise it. I really want to get this character, can you tell? :P
