I Guess I Just Have the Peanut Butter (Got Casey on the Brain)

So! I was sitting innocently at my lap-top, trying my very best to pen a new J/Ellie fic. I've really been jonesing for some fic with those two (I guess because of a new episode tomorrow), so I finally just caved and decided to write some. Heh. But I had no ideas! And I couldn't manage a drabble. So I started writing down some ideas, trying to plot something out. And just when I'd begun to make headway, a devious little idea snaked into my head. I hadn't invited it and once it was there I tried to discourage it. But no! It was quite insistent. And so, to my own shock, I wrote Chuck/Casey fic. I'm not quite sure why.
Little Deaths: But he will occasionally be soft, with fingertips as weightless as feathers and lips that trickle down your body like a gentle morning rain.
It isn't smut. Not at all - but eh. Yeah, there you go.
I do have J/Ellie notes, though! Just no fic.
“But… the jelly, Chuck, really, it would get everywhere, and - “
Casey whipped the headphones off, growling to himself. “Idiots,” he muttered under his breath. They’d moved on to do-nuts, for goodness’ sake. Their inane conversations were becoming unbearable.

Well that's (above) not working. I want somehow to frame a chaptered fic. But I have no ideas! Blargh. Okay, well no problem. The first thing to consider is captain awesome. Is he in the story or not? Yes. At least the beginning. Okay, that’s one point down. Next! How do I get him out of the way… Heh. Do I want him literally off-ed or just out of Ellie’s life? I do not know. He’s a cardiologist, right? I think so. Yeah. Yeah, he is - heart doctor. Huzzah. Okay! Erm, that's irrelevant. But, uh, back to un-Awesome-ing. Right. Maybe if... Chuck gets hurt? And is hospitalized. And Ellie and Casey are both there a lot of the time. And they bond... ? Huh? Huh? I'm likin' that train of that. Ooh, but that means research into some condition that would hospitalize him. Maybe a broken bone. That's not too hard to look up. And then maybe after the hospital Casey'll occasionally come over to check on the Intersect and he and Ellie will talk and have so much sexual tension between them and - yeah, something like that. Okay. Well I guess I have a start. I need more plot points, though.
