Both of them were glued in place. Stared at each other intensely. Winds blowing between them, but couldn’t cool off their heart. Even the beautiful scene of evening sky can’t defuse a tense between them.
"I want to break up." Ai said it clearly. This is the final decision after half of years her relationship with Misaki.
She tried to be patient during this time. Receive all the discriminatory acts from Misaki. Never get any praise from her boyfriend’s mouth. Even when Misaki made fun of her, she just smiled like a fool.
Ai looked back at her lover, trying to judge the expression on his face, searching his deepest thoughts. "It seems that you don’t mind."
Her voice is steady and cold, there is no slightest doubt that Ai really gone broke him up. Although deep down in her heart she still loves Misaki. Even in a second she wouldn’t deny it. But she still had something called the rational mind. Something which is gave her a light in the middle of love’s blindness.
"Why?" Misaki said coldly. Didn’t showed the turbulence in his mind.
"You never admit me as your girlfriend. You keep playing with me. And now I've gotten to the point of culmination to tolerate your attitude. Dakara, Sayounara. "Ai passed out of Misaki’s sight. But before she set her foot, Misaki pulled her roughly. Force her to stay in her place. Look into his cold eyes.
"You think why I confessed here half of years ago? On your class balcony. I want you, Ai. I love you." He said it coldly without any emotion.
Ai gave him a look full of pain. "If you really love me, why do you always make fun of me? Shout to the world that God must make a mistake when decided my gender. Why do you always brag to your friends that I'm a bitch, spoiled, whiners, annoying, boring, and mood broker. Why never once you praised me? Although I took out my best effort to dress up, so you can see the beautiful of me." Along with the tears that flow from both her eyes, Ai spilled all inside her heart.
Misaki grabbed Ai in his arms. Breathe deeply the fragrant of melons and kiwi from her girlfriend's body. While the girl in his arms keep uttering her question. "Why?"
Misaki spoke with the softest voice he had. "Because I don’t want you to know that you're fun, smart, pretty, and charming. So you are going to leave me, seeking for a better person than me. Because I don’t want them to know that you are the most beautiful woman on the earth. So they approach you and take you away from me. Because I want you to be mine, just mine. "
The wind was still spinning in the same place. Evening sky still shows the beauty. Once again their hearts united, like half of years ago. But this time deeper and tighter.
