Ahah, thank you! I take as a compliment the fact that you can't wait to read my feedback. It's not often that an author is looking forward to me not liking something just so we can talk about it... but okay, I suppose if there's something that I don't like or feel that it's not working for me, I guess i'd let you know about it. Since you seem so... eager :P But let's be honest, you're very good and the odds are greater that you'd dislike something I write before I disliked something of yours.

you have idea how much I really appreciate what you just said about feedback. Espacially now cause your timing is impeccable. And it makes me feel better. I have a friend who asked me to email her my favourite glee fics cause she's really into the show, and every time she calls, i'm telling her I'm reading. she wanted to understand so I started sharing. And when I share a story or an author I really like, I don't expect that she'll be in love with it like i am, but I'm annoyed with her overall lack of any opinion or feedback. To her feedback is "i liked it" or "I didn't like it" or "I guess that was good". She drives me nuts. Yesteday I sent her something from possibly my very favourite author. It was a drabble, very short, with a couple lines that made me jeaalous *I* didn't write them. it was so beautiful and defining and perfect that I read it over like 5 times and then told myself... God, I have to email this to her. And then she wrote back and the entirety of her feedback was "Is this a poem? it's short." I wish i could slap her behind the head and trigger something that would give her perspective and a grander appreciation of the written word. But alas... I doubt that's ever going to happen I dislike this about her. Which means I love it about you!

I think it's alright and normal that you dislike her father but like writing about him though. It's boring to write someone perfect and happy all the time, and much more gratifying to give layers and dept and make someone 3 dimensional, even if his personality and stronger traits are negative ones. There's a french saying that, if translated, would say "happy ppl don't have a story/history". There's always more interesting things to write about ppl that aren't perfect.

I'm very much looking forward to read more about Quinn, despite the hard time you're having explaining the extent or purpose of her interaction... I will indeed have to wait and see. And I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

no need to thank me for reading, but thanks to you for sharing. (and leaving a beautifully long comment in response.)
