I have never in my life had a cold, and I'm not about to start now. Prefecturals are this weekend, boys, and we'll be there. Play your hearts out this week. Takahashi-sempai will be joining the rest of you as a regular in my absence; I trust you'll work him to the bone, Yuujirou. I'm counting on you, you know. Please don't let me down. These boys need you to take them to Nationals this year.

[ I've never played so hard in my life. I understood that we didn't need to win to regain our footing, but that hardly mattered. I wasn't even expecting the team to win, though perhaps I was hoping. I think it was about redeeming myself... for myself. We've been faltering this season, and having our funding pulled felt like an insult - perhaps a deserved one.
To be honest, I also want to see them do this without me. I'm more than proud to be leading them to Nationals, but I want to see their drive, not mine. I hope it hasn't been me all along that's been keeping them going. ]
