So, check it.
Saturday owned all.
Hung out with the homeboys for a while over at Bens house while they practiced for the show at Elon... watched them work on a new song and threw in some advice here and there and shat, tight song for sure. Once Allen’s slow ass got there, they started to play over the set... damn did they all have some fuckin nutty ass energy... Allen was all over everything reminding me of Buddy from Senses Fail... creepy. We left Raleigh for Elon around 6ish, it was an uber easy drive... only took like 35 minutes i think. Rule. Found the place with little trouble. Kevin is directions GOD.
Once there, the first person i see at the door was none other then the totally and absolutely amazingly awesome girl Nae[dyingxemotions] greeted each other with a weak hug that im still ashamed off. I sucked at that hug. oh well. next time ill own it. We get into the place and kinda... check things out, cuz we are cool like that...only not! Anyway... soon we find out that we will be going first.. in all honesty, we (After Letting Go) did not want to go first at all... but we didn’t want to be that 'asshole band' that’s too cool too go first. So we sucked it up, and rolled with it. Set up all our shit and sorta waited around for more kids too show up. It was a nice turn out. ALG started there set sometime right before 8PM. ...Now come on guys, it wasn’t our best show. We know this. For one, Allen got NAILED by Greg and his bass right on the ear. Blood all over his face, check out the pictures under the cut after all this text... Not only that, but the sound was flakey... kept losing sound from amps and mics at random points... To me, it seemed very... unorganized? But i really think that it was the fact that they were surprised and not totally ready to go first, some what rushed on stage maybe? As the set went threw, they got stronger. But hey, after there set... everyone loved it, so rock on. Greg and I sold four or five shirts and tons of stickers. Also made some new fans that should be out on the 10th at Ace's Basement to catch After Letting Go play again. Word up. So yeah, it def was not there best performance...but hey, shit happens. We(They) had fun, that’s what matters; and it was for a good cause. Check out some of the pictures i took... not the best, but ehhh! :)

I got ZERO good pictures of Ben(Drummer) last night, not even one worth posting. BAH!
I also took 321go 's advise and cropped the images and played with them a little more then just the raw picture, it makes a difference.

As for the rest of the bands they were really good. Ashwin played a great show, there drummer is SICK. Braver played good as well. Death Runs Silent blew me away with there amazing talent. I missed Sullivan because a few off us were dieing of hunger so we left to get something to eat and came back. Overall, it was a great great show. We all had a blast for sure. Also randomly meet a few of Amies[lovebinges] good friends. Too bad Amie was not able too make it too this show...SHE BETTER BE AT THE SHOW ON THE 10TH!!! :) Saw a few other really familiar face's there that i see a tons of local shows, so i final introduced myself and made some new friends.
After the show, instead of going back to UNCG with the kids, i just drove back home. I was way to tired to go out and partyhard with the rest of them. The drive home wasn’t that bad at all; only like 30 minutes, hell i spent most of it on the phone.
Today (Sunday) i spent most the day with my Dad... Going out shopping for random shit (Got a lot of food from Sams and a few other things...) then went to dinner at On The Boarder; only thee best Mexican restaurant EVER. Hands down. No lie. ;)
Now i am just chillin at home, cropped and checked out all the pictures i took last night, the best of them you are(or already have) looked at... So let me hear what you think of them all, you know the drill <3
