So yeah, yesterday? BEST FUCKING DAY IN A LONG ASS TIME. No doubt about it.
Why? Here is why ...
Lets see, what did i start my morning to on Wednesday?
Oh yeah, about 30 IMs from Nick and Allen and a few others going crazy.
Why where they going crazy?
Guess who is coming to town in January?
Jan 9, Fri. - Silverstein/Diffuser/Spitalfield @ Aces Basement
SILVERSTEIN!!!!!! HOLY SHIT!
I have yet to see this band play, i can’t fucking WAIT too see them...and at ACES BASEMENT?!?!?!?! OMFG! :) :)
So yeah, that was the start to my morning, little did i know, it was only going to get better, and then better, and then better again.
Nick[bobby_bac] and Foote both had there interviews with Steve for a job at OfficeMax (were i work...duh). Foote was at 2PM, and Nick was right after. Cool thing was, Nick filled in the application that very day and got an interview a few hours later, Foote gave him the application like two days ago. Both interviews went well, and they are now employees at OfficeMax, fuck yeah! They both start today at 1PM. Oh, and an added plus, i get an extra $50 in my next pay check for referring them. YES. MONEY. Right now they are only seasonal help, but if they do good, they could both be part time workers. And if that happens, then i get another extra $100 in a paycheck, MONEY! Not to mention i got two good friends working with me now, that’s a plus too, haha.
Wait, there is more good news ...
So Dan, my boss, called me into his office. He kicked everyone out of the room and said he wanted to talk to me one-on-one ... i was sorta nervous, but i knew it couldn’t be about anything bad being i didn’t do anything wrong. So he tells me he checked out my hourly wage, just because he was curious. He was shocked at what it was. In short... I GOT A PHAT FUCKING RAISE. Dan said the raise will be somewhere in-between $8.75 - $9 an hour. HOLY ASS FUCK!!! sakdhsakdshakflasyiudsadmsad THATS A BIG RAISE! Dan was telling me that i am one of OfficeMax's prime players and i totally deserve more money. He told me, with what i have been making; they have hired NEW people that have been making more an hour then me. That kinda pissed me off, so that got me thinking. Retro pay? Know what that is? That’s like back pay they would have owed me if they gave me the raise say, six months ago. That would mean they owe me a LOT of money ... and im taking somewhere in the $500+ range more. Right now i wont bring that up, i don’t want to be to greedy. But i will bring that up at some point, because to me, its only fair. So Dan will talk to Mike (His boss, the regional manager) about the raise and Mike will review it and pick a money spot for me. Now the really good thing is, remember that $5,000+ sale i brought into OfficeMax last week? Yeah, that should REALLY make Mikes decision a whole lot easier, and bring me more money. FUCK YES! Steve sent Mike an email about the sale yesterday, so it will be fresh in Mikes mind when Dan brings up my pay. This owns so much, i can’t wait to see the raise on my paycheck, its going to be huge.
I also got to go home from work two hours early. Yesterday was supposed to be our go live date with the new registers and SAP system, so everyone was scheduled to be in at work. I already had 5+ extra hours this week from Monday and Tuesday, so cutting out two hours early yesterday wont bother the paycheck, so i figured why not. :) It was a nice treat.
After work, i hung around on the computer for hours. I was one lazy fucker. Then Rachel[eighteenforever] finally got me to get off my ass and over to Meredith to see her! We went to Cup-o-Joe, the place she works. Nice coffee shop, then hit up Wendy’s and got some fries likewhoa. Drove back to her car and sat in mine listening to music, talking, and checking out our voice memos on our phones...she’s got some crazy funny stuff saved. Talked a lot and just hung out. good times :)
After, just came home, messed around and went to bed.
Now im doing a few loads of dirty smell laundry so i don’t have to walk the cold streets naked. word. but hey, if it was hot outside... then yeah ;)
I am workin 7 till 3 on Friday, after work i am going to find Ame and hang out with her for the first time in like 3 months, YAY! and...
SHOW TOMORROW!

Got a HUGE group of friends going, and i get to see Ame[sprklstarlet] who i haven’t seen in months because she is a dork who had to go to college in TN and i FINIALLY get to meet Amanda[xsolastsummerx]!! I also think that Sam[emog33k] will be there? Correct?
Oh yes, and after the show, MASSIVE party at Josh Brewers HOUSE. No, not the apt, his parents GAVE him the house to throw a party, and they will stay in his apt AND all the neighbor’s already know about it, so no cops busting us. FUCK YES.
Its going to be one hell of a day. I can’t wait.
