I am back.
The trip for work with Steve was not bad at all. I didn’t learn nearly as much at this one as i did the last one. Oh well, it seemed rushed. I drove; the driving part to Charlotte was really easy and didn’t seem to take me long at all. We stopped off near Greensboro at the Stake 'n' Sake. YUM, so good. I love that place. We got there Wednesday night around 9ish, got our room and just did nothing. Our room was fucking HUGE. 3x bigger then the last time i was there. Not to bad. The meeting was at 7:30 and we got out around 4:30 just like last time. Lunch was good. Everything was paid for. The drive back home from Charlotte was sorta shitty. It was pouring down for at least half of the drive, so it took longer. I got home last night around 8. In total around 320 miles; I get .32 cents a mile. So im getting an extra $102 for driving my car. Not to bad. That will pay for the oil change, transmission flush and gas that i got earlier that day. Plus some extra money. woop!
Oh yeah, story about the oil change and transmission fluid flush. The place I always go to, I know this person who works there. He is always the one to do my car up. So he says I need a transmission fluid flush. He tells me why, shows me the color of the fluid. It’s a greenish black. Shows the color it should be, red. I called dad, he said to do it. So the guy said $80 and I was like, na I cant I don’t have that kind of money. So he said ok, ill do it for $60, and again, I said no. So then, he said $50 for the oil change and flush of the transmission. So I was like, uhhh deal. He told me to pay in cash because this way there would be no paper trail and his boss would never find out. I was like, um ok. So I went to the ATM and got cash. When I got back my car was all hooked up to this machine and it was doing its thing. The dude told me to put the money on my seat. He met me inside my car and took the money and put it right into his pocket. Hahah he totally just stole from his company. I didn’t care; I got a fucking deal and a half. Not only did he do the oil, and the transmission fluid, but he put pressure in the tires, cleaned the windows and vacuumed inside the car. For $50 that he put RIGHT into his own pocket. Hey, sounds good to me, if he gets caught it’s his ass, not mine. I don’t care :) I can feel a little difference when changing gears.
But yeah, anyway.
The second i got home last night, i went to the Southpoint Theater and got myself tickets for the next showing of Matrix: Revolutions. It was at 9:30. My dad and i went. I won’t say much about the movie, cuz i don’t want to fuck anything up for anyone. But let me just say i fucking loved it. It was truly an amazing movie. The big picture of the movie is just great. I can’t wait to buy the DVD box sets and stuff. ahhhhh! I am going to be seeing it again at least 4 more times. Not only that but ...
Just announced today, The Matrix Revolutions: The IMAX Experience will premiere at the IMAX® Theatre at Exploris on Wednesday, November 26th.
Tickets will go on sale beginning this Friday morning (11/7) at 9:00 am.
You know i will be seeing that at LEAST once on the IMAX. I saw Reloaded on the IMAX screen, and it was AWESOME. But yeah, the movie is amazing. End of that.
Today is the start of FF5!!! Hot Water Music!! A STATIC LULLABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!! I cant fucking wait. This is the ... third or fourth time seeing ASL and second time seeing HWM. Oh man, tonight is going to be amazing. I am spending the night over at UNCG with my home boys’ likewhoa after the show. I can’t wait. I am still unsure how Saturday and Sunday will roll out because the guys are not going to be on campus, they got a show in VA, so i dunno where i will stay or if i will stay around there. Who knows? So soon i will get something to eat, take a shower, head over to OfficeMax to get my pay stub, get my $102 for my mileage (that money will be spent this weekend for food and merch and stuff :P), then meet Kevin Allen Ben Chris and Greg somewhere and all drive back over to UNCG. Fuck yeah, great weekend coming. I hope.
Don’t know if there will be many updates this weekend, but we will see.
