again, i would like to thank everyone who comment on my last entry. it means the word, it really does.
i am sick as shit. i have spent all damn day in bed trying to sleep. i hardly got any, but i know i needed what i got. i had a migraine from the second i woke up this morning, i wanted to rip out my through because it hurt so badly, i had a fever pushing 100*, and i had so much stuff in my lungs it was hard to breathe correctly. i was so stuffed up. right now tho, i am starting to feel better. I took a HOT shower to get rid of the migraine and i think it worked. Everything seems to be in slow motion, its hard to hear things, and my balance is totally fucked up. So I think it has something to do with ears? I have a feeling tomorrow morning i will feel fine. I think this is just some random one day sickness. At least that’s what im hoping for.
So yeah, on to the good stuff.
Yesterday, work was word. Not to bad, i wasn’t feeling that good so that made the day go by slow. Check it out, i will be going to Charlotte again for work. More training with different venders. This time i will be going with Steve. Steve rocks, he is one of my favorite people at OfficeMax, so that should be a lot of fun. I am driving this time. Same story, driving the night before, spending the night in the hotel, and waking up the next morning for the meeting. That will be Nov 5 and 6th. Then i have three days off of work for Friction Fest Five woop!
After work hung around at home and then went to a show ... :)
.the appleseed cast/the mercury program/maserati.
Maserati: Wow. This band was amazing. 100% instrumental indie rock. Had an original set up. The drummers drum kit was set up stage center, right up to the front of the stage. Never seen that before. They were amazing. There musicianship was incredible. Drummer had some amazing skills and unique drum beats. Everything about his band blew me away. I cant wait to see them again sometime soon.
GRADE: A+
The Mercury Program: Gosh, another band that just blew my socks clear off my feet. The had a vibraphone on stage, were three out of the four band members played it at different times. Way to mix things up guys. Totally amazing. At one point they had to band members playing the vibraphone; incredible. Another band that was 100% instrumental music. It was beautiful. I hope to see these guys again soon.
GRADE: A+
The Appleseed Cast: Yes, the band that i know and love oh so much. This was my second time seeing them at Go! Room 4 (After the first time seeing them, on my way home, i got my first speeding ticket :x) They were incredible yet again, tho missing there keyboard player. Dunno what happened to him, but now that i think about it, he had small parts in all the songs they played last night, so i guess it was not a big deal? They sounded amazing yet again. I love there music so much. Check these guys out if you can. (YAY, no speeding ticket this time :P)
GRADE: A+
OVERALL GRADE: A+++
You would be absolutely crazy to miss any one of these bands on any form of a tour. They were all amazing.

And to think, i almost didnt go to this show because i felt like shit. I couldnt miss AppleSeed Cast, so i forced myself to go. I am VERY glad i did go.
I got to the show way to early. About an hour or so early. There was only one person waiting out side. Tommy. We got to talking about lots of stuff and in turn we each made a new friend. Nice kid he was. Soon my friend Mike[eyesblur] came. With him were some of the guys i haven’t seen in a long long time. It was awesome seeing them all again. Such nice people. We all hung out once we got inside. Seriously some really nice/cool people. Everyone should be friends with them. haha
The show didn’t start to sometime after 10, and it ended around 1AM i think.
But yeah, the last time i saw Appleseed Cast, i recorded there set via a MD player/recorder. So before the show, i burned there set from last year on CD. Once i got in, i found one of the guys from the band and handed it over to them. He was really happy and said thanks a million times. Sweet, that made me happy.
The one shirt i wanted, they didn’t have my size, so i am going to order it VIA there website. (hmmm seems like the website only as XXL?!?! what the fuck? maybe that will change soon...) One of the guys from Appleseed Cast said to send him an email about who i am, and when i order the shirt, they will throw in a bunch of stickers and buttons for free as a 'thank you' of sorts for making the CD for them. Nice guys.

I got all my posters that i ordered from a few websites, ill put them up either tonight, or tomorrow. Maybe ill take a picture of the hall way in my room. It looks bad ass with posters everywhere.
mmm, bed early tonight. Hopefully i will be able to sleep off this little sickness thing i got going on. I don’t want to have to call into work tomorrow if i am sick, but if im not able to work; then so be it. I am scheduled for 4 till close.
[start nerd moment] The new Microsoft Office 2004 Professional Suite is bad ass, sooo many new improvements. It rocks my socks. Outlook has never looked better. [end nerd moment]
Yup, that’s all, time to relax and maybe fall asleep in bed again like I have been all day.
