I've been thinking alot lately about how I can make the most out of this life. What can I do to make a difference? What type of experiences can I have that I'll look back on and be really grateful for? So many things about college stand out, my trip to Spain, the most prominent of all, then DG - the friends, laughs, parties, spring breaks, staying out all night, the things I did that looking back, I should have never done.
After college, I think so many people are in the midst of drastic life changes and life is a little more predictable and less spontaneous. For me, being focused on my career, I've spent a lot of time worrying about where my career is headed, always looking at each internship, job whatever it may be as a stepping stone to my full potential, making it a challenge to live life to the fullest, live in every moment. Other factors played a role in getting my footing over the past couple of years as I'm sure that everyone has their own personal obstacles. I've heard so many times that your 20's are the time of your life. I think that is true to a degree, but I think what people forget to add is that your 20's is a time that is full of completely new terrority, sometimes scary and always full of decisions that you've never faced before - decisions that will affect the rest of your life.
Now I'm definitely at a place in my career that I feel confident with. Some of the other factors are still not completely resolved, but I've come to understand how to deal with them. I'm ready for the next step, a bit of spontenity, an attitude that makes every day unique and special. So I'm back to the question I asked at the start: What's next?
