The pickle that Tom is in...

So, I am in a we bit of a dilemma. The person I was going to room with for next semester has backed out and is no longer going to live with me (which he has yet to tell me about by the way). So I am left with one of several options. I could get a one person apartment, which is mighty expensive. I could live in a house with my friend Kyle, by ( Read more... )

Why don't you talk to Gunnar about getting an apartment? Your lack of car (which you have all summer to remedy) seems to be the only obstacle there. Otherwise you two can look near a bus route that goes by UT. Or buy a bike.

And while staying with Shayla and Steve appears to be a good idea, I'd be jealous as sin if G was staying with a guy and a girl. But maybe Tiffany feels differently. (HA.)

Hmmm... that does sound like a problem. So UT isn't willing to assign you another roommate?
I'd either go with getting your own apartment or your third option. The only problem I could see with your third option is that Tiffany might not like you living with another girl, but I guess considering your alternative of maybe being locked out by your roommate who will "have sex all over everything!"

It's too bad you and Gunnar couldn't get an apartment together, like Angela and Tiffany are.

How about you and Gunnar compromise and find a place to live in North Austin. That way he'll be closer to Round Rock and you'll still be close to UT.

If you didn't have a girlfriend, I'd rock on to number three, but yea that probably wont be sufficient enough for Tiff (I wouldn't even know if I'd let my guy do that) even if you're upstairs.

Living by yourself is awesome, even though it'll be expensive, you manage your money with excellence, so I'd go with number one.

Yay for rooming with Gunnar. If I was down there it could be the three of us again...
