retcon date; next day

Havian bound a rather...disagreeable vestige today. Angry jerk, but he's apologized quite a bit, I know he doesn't mean it. I hope he doesn't bind this one too often, else it'll be kinda hard to keep working with him.
We went down into the sewers. Seems there is a connection between the night goblins and the blockage, after all. Their digging was diverting sewage and tossing even more debris into the sewers, blocking it off.
The sewer workers are smarter than I ever would have imagined. They're master engineers, and employ all sorts of monsters in the maintenance of the sewer. It makes the place more dangerous, but I can see how much work they save.
Havian found chaos runes written on the sewer walls, warning of dangers ahead, and I spotted small footprints -- probably Night Goblins -- down into the tunnel that's been diverting the sewer. When we went in to investigate, goblins rained arrows down on us, and we were flanked by a white Ronso. Havian charged in and intercepted the Ronso while I supported him. Caladbolg served me well, but the Ronso knocked Havian over the edge of the cliff, and the goblins knocked the wooden walkway out from under us; Vincenzo, Vincini, and our sewer worker comrade Bobby fell into the chasm below. Guido attempted to go after them, despite all our injuries, the fool. I talked him out of it. We could have gone to get the city guard to help us. Climbing down the cliff, we would have been easy pickings for the goblin archers.
Unforunately, the blockage broke, and we were swept down into the abyss ourselves. Luckily, we landed in water. Amazingly clean water -- the sewage seemed to disappear at the bottom. Vincenzo, Vincini, Havian and Bobby were all alive down there, too. And before us stood an ancient temple, carved in the ancient tongue. This was a sacred place, dedicated to the gods and to the Creator. I am in utter awe of this place.
