Mackenzie P.O.V
Skye wasn't behind me, in front of me my heart raced hammering heavily against my ribs. "Skye!" I yelled aloud as I physically could. 'Mackenzie' I could hear a voice beckoning from further in the forest, everything became cold, I shivered. That’s when I saw it, I saw the eyes again, but just not eyes teeth razor blade sharp teeth blood dripping from them, and below this dark creature laid my Skye, blood slowly dripping out of her side, her features pale, it didn't even look like she was breathing her eyes was clamped shut, I felt my heart drop.
I grimaced and closed my eyes away from the creature before me. 'She still alive..' the creature stated. I clenched my fists in anger as I approached the creature, I noticed its bulk dark from leering on two hind legs, I wasn't sure but it seemed to look like a huge deformed werewolf. It growled loudly piercingly, I screamed as I felt my ears bleed, dripping down the side of my face, I slowly brought my hand up ears and felt the cold red liquid on my fingers I could still hear everything, How was this even real? how was with possible? my breathing picked up as its huge feet or was it paws? moved towards me loudly thudding on the ground. I scrambled backwards and fell over a log.
It leaned over me its teeth bearing inches from my face, a loud crash hammered over us lighting. The creature was stunned and somewhat scared it loud a roar and bolted off further into the forest, I was sure it was going to come back. If I was going to die, I wanted to be near Skye. I managed to stumble over to her, sitting on my knees I touched her face her eyes opened slightly I could feel how cold she had become. "I love you.." I said sobbing slightly, her hand weakly rose to my face cupping my cheek. "Don't you dare cry Kenz" she exclaimed her voice cracking. I couldn't help it, the tears was flowing so fast I had no way of stopping them.
"B-but-" I started to speak, but before I could finish my sentence I got pulled down and my lip crashed onto Skye's, they were soft, It felt electric, powerful like it was giving me some strength. Skye pulled away abruptly her head falling back onto the ground. "I-I love you too" she finally replied just above a whisper. My heart clenched tightly as I felt her slip away from me, I choked slightly kissing her cheek before standing up. I felt my whole body tense I glanced far into the forest to see if I could see the creature. "YOU SICK SHIT, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU.." I yelled with such force it even scared me.
I could hear it running behind me I spun in a circle trying to find it as its throaty dark laugh echoed around me. I was caught off guard when a loud crack came from behind me and then everything went completely black....
End of Mackenzie's bit.. lol next chapter is Skye's and if your confused don't worry it'll all make sense in the last chapter =I
