I've been avoiding LJ more so than ever lately.
Havent even read my friends list in over a week :(
Thank you so much to the people that commented to my last two posts about my news of my Dad.
I'm having a very hard time with it all and could'nt really bring myself to reply, although the kind words and thoughtful well wishes helped a lot.
I think I'm just going to push all those issues down now to try and avoid the pain.
If you know me and think I seem fine I must be doing a good job on da Nile.
I've been drunk almost constantly yet still functioning somehow.
His first phase of homeopathic therapy is completed and his next biopsy will be this coming Monday...
I HATE feeling this fucking weak.

Forgot to mention that I picked up a third job.
Now along with The Convent and The Highlander, I am bartending at The Echo Lounge in East Atlanta.
Mucho thanks and the bats meow to aquaknot, I have been been working there now for about 3 weeks and am quite happy with the new digs.
After hearing that The Riviera might be under-going some changes I hope that I could be of help booking some interesting shows at The Echo soon.
It's nice to work at a venue that isnt in it just for the $$$ for a change.
The party we had at The Convent last Friday was mutha fuckin off the hizzy, fabulous!
But for darkmoontrance's b-day, what else could we expect?
Everybody loves the Brian and the turn out proved it.
That was the best party I've seen this year...so far.
My birfday's still to come...last Friday in August I believe if anybodies interested.
I feel like I've only been talking about local issues lately, so my apologies to everybody on my friends list that isnt ATL.
I really should find more time to broaden my horizons!
I miss road trips and such, really wish I could've made it to D.C. again this year for the 4th.
I'm really hoping to find some time to get back down to The Castle in Tampa with the EFN and friends sometime soon.
Right now I'm just trying to work on opening my eBay store, retail website, 3 mutha fuckin jobs, emotional stress galore, replacing the Creepy Jeepy (yes, I'm ready) and missing my friends...while drunk...constantly.
After this long and boring post (I really fucking hate people who make long boring fucking posts)
I do want to plug/appeal to:
***EVERYBODY THAT HAS ANY COOL SHIT THEY NEED TO GET RID OF***
(if you dont have any you must not be cool)
WE ARE HAVING A FLEA MARKET NIGHT AT THE CONVENT, FRIDAY, JULY 30TH!
BRING ALL YOUR CLOTHES, SHOES, ACCESSORIES, CD'S, DVD'S, GAMES, TOYS, COMICS, COLLECTABLES, HOUSE WEARS, ETC.
to sell and/or swap!
Dealing will be free but clothes racks, hangers and such must be provided by all individuals.
Please RSVP for space and set up times.
This will also be a regular party night with sonics and tonics, any other suggestions are always welcome.
