I made this for Puddinhead's wonderful fic Yours, William. It's a time-travel story, Buffy travels back to William's time - and it's just fantastic. Highly recommended!

In a way this is a remake of this blend I made a while back.
As I was making it a story sort of evolved around the premise: Spike's the evil fairy king and he's kidnapped Buffy and is keeping her captive in his castle. Of course, over time, they fall in love.
The lyrics I used are from a Within Temptation song (The Truth Beneath the Rose) and I've used them as part of Buffy's PoV. Spike was cruel to her in the kidnapping and beginnings of her capture, but as time's gone on she fell in love with him, but can't reconcile herself to that fact; she feels guilty, as if she is submitting to the darker side of herself and is asking to be forgiven. Thereby mirroring the canon Spuffy relationship.
Have I given this too much thought? ;)
