Mum and Dad came down to Reading for the day yesterday. We had a really nice day. We went to La Tasca for lunch and had some really yummy tapas, and then came back home and showed them our loverly house. They were very impressed that we have found such a nice house after all the slightly dingy places we have lived in before. It was really nice to see them and get taken out for lunch and spoilt a bit - but not too spend so much time with them that we end up arguing. I think parents are definately best seen in small chunks. That way it is really nice and friendly and I am sad when they leave. More than a few days and we just end up getting on each other's nerves pretty quickly. Oooh - and to round off the day I watched 'But I'm A Cheerleader' (Borrowed off Amber) which is a very entertaining film indeed. Slightly bizarre in a few places, but very sweet at the end.
