Six Flags Magic Mountain

Whew! I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July. Mine was nothing short of AMAZING!

Jason got tickets for us to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain and we spent the entire day there. You would think it would be slammed on Fourth of July, but it wasn't at all! We were all able to walk onto most rides and only had to wait in short lines for X and Tatsu because they were new and still hot and superman because it will always be hot. So....yea...I went from a wary beginner, to a true rider in one day lol. I still have an on-again, off-again headache though, from all the g-force and my body aches head to toe from all the being thrown around and stuff. It was SO COOL! We rode Revolution, Batman, Riddler's Revenge, Deja-Vu, Ninga, X, Tatsu and Superman. Then at nighttime, they had a spectacular fireworks display. The most exciting one I'd ever seen and with a perfect soundtrack!

Here's what I thought of the rides we went on:

Revolution: Too old! It was made in 88, and I don't like OLD roller coasters because the seats are hard, and the restraints are worn and less reliable and painful on the neck and I could go on...

Batman- Sooooo fun and true to the theme! It was intense, and the first major roller coaster I've ever been on, but we rode it twice, and started to love it.

Riddler's Revenge- Yea revenge is right! This ride was okay I guess. I don't like the whole standing-up thing. All the blood rushes to your feet during loops and it feels crazy weird!

Deja-Vu- Yea this was my second favorite ride all day! I was TERRIFIED in line, but it turned out to be a blast. You start out facing DOWN at a 90 degree angle, and plunge straight toward the ground FAST before it whips you right up into motion. It's soooo fun though, I can't explain it. They designed this ride well. So yea you go through the ride one time, and it turns around and you end up back at the beginning this time facing UP at a 90 degree angle, and then you quickly fall back down backwards and go through the ride again the other way. Hence the name! It's so terrifying in a good way lol.

Ninja- Mmm old and boring I guess...it was cool because it had these bucket seat thingies, but nothing to write home about unless you're 10 years old.

X- TERRIFYING! It's the only word I have to describe this crazy ride! There are 300 feet 90 degree drops, backflips, raven turns, and all in a train with seats that SPIN!!! The G-force in this ride gave me the headache I still can't shake. I'm never going on it again rawr! This was Jason's favorite ride though....hmm Okay...MAYBE I WILL go on it again. I'm sick of being a wimp, and Jason wants us to go back to Six Flags once a year:)

Tatsu- This was the brand new ride at Six Flags. It was PURE FUN and not scary at all , with a feeling like you're just soaring around pretty slowly up until BAM!!!!! Everything changes when...(SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T RIDDEN IT YET) the new world-record-breaking pretzel loop comes, and you feel like your whole body is going to explode... :( The blood rushes to your head, and then to your feet, and then to both at the same time, and it's still not over.....still not over....STILL NOT OVER.... because the loop is gigantic and long, and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'd do this again because I like the flying thing, but much more prepared about the end next time. After this ride, I'd seriously HAD IT lol

Superman- Only Jason did this ride, because I was completely spent by the time we got to it (we saved it for nighttime, because we thought it would be more fun at dark), and the pretzel loop on Tatsu had made my heachace go from bad to worse. I waited for him for an hour though, and I'm kinda glad I didn't go because he said it was just all-right. Nothing worth making my head worse! I'll ride it first next time we go though:) I realllly want to! Right after this ride, the fireworks started, and they rocked! A truly great show:) Then we headed to the gift shop where we chose matching shotglasses with our names on them:) Then we headed home.

So that was our day at Six Flags! The 3-hr ride home was tiresome, traffic-y and just awful, and we were soooo exhausted...couldn't make it all the way out to my place, so I just spent the night in the barracks on a WORKNIGHT, which we thought would be hard since I had to be stuck there, but it ended up being really fun. While Jason was at work, I just played the character he made me on the awesome game WORLD OF WARCRAFT! (addicting) and surfed the net alllll day :-P He got a break and brought me lunch at 11:00, showed me how to use the barracks shower (LOTS OF PRESSURE YAY) and he had to leave again:( But this time, time flew, and before I knew it, he was off work and we went to Denny's for dinner, and came back here to watch a movie:) Surprisingly, I actually had FUN being stuck on base hehe!

Once again, I hope all you guys had an outstanding holiday! and late *HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!*
